A Note from Your President

Never forget what is most important

The 2^nd “N” in Intentional is Never forget what is most important to you. What is most important to you? Is it the life you are building, the grand babies, watching the kids grow like weeds, your retirement, or something else? Why do you get on those planes, trains, and automobiles? Has your “why changed”?

I keep asking you to be intentional, “for you”. As the Season of Christmas, and other celebrations pass us by like a cold front out of North, I hope you are taking time to celebrate another year of you. What is the biggest obstacle you have overcome this year? The stories we will tell about 2020, years from now, they will be endless.

By now, the Turkey leftovers are all gone (we hope), and our sights are set for all the holiday events to come. Enjoy the holidays and celebrate safely with the ones you love and hold dear.

Do you have a plan of what are you going to do in 2021 to move even further? “If you want something you have never had, you must be willing to do something you have never done”, Thomas Jefferson.

Here are a few to get you through the end of year with NSA NT.

December 11^th, North Texas Virtual Holiday Party, Entertainment, & Silent Auction.

December 12^th, North Texas Chapter Meeting with CSP, CPAE Mark Sanborn.

December 19^th, Volunteer with Metrocrest 10 am to 12:30 pm.

December 16^th, North Texas Lab with Chris Price

We will kick off the New Year with plenty for you to look forward to.

We have Labs, Special Events, Road to the Pro, Fireside Chats, Masterminds, Hospitality Events, and many ways to get involved. Please reach out with any questions!

January 30^th is the date of our next Open House. This is an opportunity for you to invite anyone with questions about NSA or NSA NT. Keep spreading the word, we are the premiere speaker association with a great reputation here in North Texas. Please share.

Covid-19 is one of the biggest events that have dramatically altered the world in general and professional speaking in particular. While nobody knows with certainty what the future holds, the present gives us more options than we’ve recognized in the past.

Mark will focus on three areas: what’s happening now, what it means and what you can do to not just survive but thrive in this new world.
