A Note from Your President

Thank you for investing a few minutes to read this “kick-off” message. We want to set the stage and share your Board of Directors vision for NSA NT 2020-21 by saying one word, Intentional. It fits, right? Intentional has 11 letters, and we have 11 months of programs, speakers, labs, and events.

We have been preparing for more than a year adjusting as needed. We have a great lineup of world- class speakers and programming scheduled for you. We understand the concerns we are all facing and have made allowances in our programs to shift with minimal notice from live to virtual if the need arises. All safety protocol will be followed. We will make available sanitizer, masks, gloves and observe the suggested 6’ Social Distancing rule along with the heightened hotel efforts for all of our safety. When it is safe to come back, we want you back. We miss you. We do have a mindset in-person meetings first when it is safe.

What the Board is asking of you is to be “Intentional” this year in moving forward. Every event you attend should have a purpose and a desired outcome to move you further along your journey. It should answer at least one question for you.

This includes everyone from the “first-timers” to the “Hall of Famers”. What do you want to take away? How do you want to grow over the next 11 months?

If you are a Candidate for Membership, we are working on expanding our “Road to the Pro” to help you move towards becoming a Professional member. There will be a quarterly learning lab designed for you with a goal to help assist you.

We will not be holding our Charbonneau Academy this year. We will use our efforts to produce the NSA North Texas Speakers Forum. It is a program available virtually when you own the All-Access Pass to help all of us in these unusual times.

If you are a Candidate or Professional Member, CSP, CPAE you may want to join the monthly Mastermind Groups.

Other opportunities will be with Special Events, Hospitality Events, Community Events, Road to CSP, Comedy Workshop, labs and more. There is something for everyone.

By regularly attending, you will build closer relationships, Clarity, Consistency and Accountability all directed at intentionally moving you forward.

If you want to get involved, please reach out to me and we will get you plugged in quickly.

The All-Access Pass is the key for you and for us as a Chapter. Remember this is Your chapter.
