The speaking profession has been dying for a long time. The problem being that everyone but speakers seem to realize this. Alan Weiss, PhD, CSP, CPAE is going to share techniques from his global coaching experience that will position you as an expert with varying capabilities to improve the client’s condition.

This is a highly interactive, provocative session. Don’t expect the “sand dollar” story or “how to use technology.”

About the Speaker

Alan Weiss is the only non-journalist in history to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Press Institute. He has authored 64 books which appear in 12 languages. His clients have included Mercedes-Benz, Merck, Hewlett-Packard, New York Times, and over 200 others. He is one of two people in history to both be elected into the Professional Speaker Hall of Fame® and made a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants. He’s written over 60 books appearing in 13 languages. His latest is Fearless Leadership. He has served on the Board of Governors of the Harvard Medical School Center for Mental Health and the Media.

He has coached executives and entrepreneurs in nearly 60 countries. He is interviewed and quoted frequently in the media. Success Magazine cited him in an editorial devoted to his work as “a worldwide expert in executive education.” The New York Post called him “one of the most highly regarded independent consultants in America.” He hosts an annual Thought Leadership conference where his guests have included James Carville, Marshall Goldsmith, Dan Pink, and Robert Cialdini. He is married for 51 years to his high school sweetheart, Maria.
