What are some of techniques that top professional speakers use to make their audiences feel like they are part of their presentations?  In this session, long-time NSA member Lou Heckler, CSP, CPAE will show us some of the strategies and techniques he has used to sustain his business over the decades…and more importantly, to leave his audiences with real-world solutions to their business problems.

Among the ideas he will share are:

  • How to make your presentation to feel like a dialogue, not a monologue
  • How to create powerful stories that make your points even as they make the audience feel like they are part of the stories as you tell them
  • How movement on the stage (when you have one) or facial and vocal variety (when you don’t) will help you forge a connection to each person

Lou Heckler has taught at major universities…has keynoted across the US and in more than a dozen other countries…and served as an essayist on the nationally televised PBS program, “Nightly Business Report.”  He knows how to make audiences big and small really relate to his topics, and he always does it with a generous dose of clean, original humor.
