Zig Ziglar Member of the Year

Each year, the NSA North Texas Chapter’s members nominate and then vote on a member whose impact has been nothing short of extraordinary. The Member of the Year isn’t just someone who “shows up,” they are the powerhouse who goes above and beyond to advance our Chapter’s mission, energize our community, and elevate our profession. These exceptional leaders step into major volunteer roles, bring in guests who become valued members, and champion the Chapter. Their influence is felt in the way they inspire others to serve and succeed, too. The recipient is celebrated by our Chapter and honored nationally at the NSA Influence Annual Convention.

This award proudly holds the name of Zig Ziglar, CPAE, a pioneering speaker, legendary motivator, and honorary president of NSA North Texas. To receive this award is to join an elite group of past honorees whose dedication and legacy have shaped who we are today:

Board Member of the Year 

This award was created in the 2023/2024 Chapter year, to serve a similar function as the Zig Ziglar Member of the Year, with a goal to recognize a person who is serving on the Board of Directors in a way that makes a difference. The Board Member of the Year is someone who advances our Chapter’s mission, energizes our community, and elevates our profession. These exceptional leaders step into volunteer roles, bring in guests who become valued members, and champion the Chapter.
